Ophelia
This project was inspired by Ophelia in Hamlet, written by Shakespeare. Ophelia has been a docile girl from the beginning because of her paternalistic family, that she was controlled, manipulated by her father, being against to her lover, Hamlet, without realizing it. She was set free by her death, surrounding by flowers when she was drowning. Death became her rescuer, and life became her cage. This is a gorgeous scene, contrasting between the beauty of flowers and the horror of death. I was inspired by this scene: how ironic it is, that the torturous death became the chainbreaker of one's life?
奥菲莉亚
“奥菲莉亚“的灵感来源于莎士比亚所著的《哈姆雷特》中奥菲莉亚一角。奥菲莉亚受制于家庭，甚至从未意识到自己被迫与爱人——哈姆雷特——为敌。她在溺死的时候才得到真正的解脱。在她死亡时，身边围满了花朵。死亡给予了她自由，而活着反而会将她禁锢在牢笼中。繁花之美和死亡之痛的鲜明对比给了我灵感——最可怖的死亡反而拯救了一个人的生命，何其讽刺？
她身上是锦蝶与鲜花织成的袍。
她断断续续的哀歌伴随她沉入无边冰冷中。
她死去的灵魂是那自由高飞的鸟。
